Positions

  • We are seeking front desk specialists to join our team! You will welcome patients, schedule appointments, and assist to manage critical documents, patient tests and messages. We believe staff positions at Magnificat are unique and robust, giving far more patient interaction, exposure, and responsibility in all steps and stages of medical practice than many other clinical settings. We know you will find it both challenging and rewarding. Full-time and part-time opportunities available.

    Responsibilities:

    May include some or all of the following:

    • Answering phones and scheduling patients, managing after hours message system.

    • Checking patiens in and out, including entering data in electronic health recods system (EHR) for each patient, documenting insurance information/registration forms, taking co-pays (cash, check, credit card), giving invoices, etc.

    • Faxes – checking e-fax line daily, handling lab and imaging orders, uploading patient results electronically into patients’ charts on the EHR.

    • Patient Care Coordination – scheduling patients for tests, procedures, specialist referrals, etc., that need to be done outside the office.

    • Scanning in documents, naming them, and then uploading or faxing them as needed.

    • Other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications:

    • Proficiency with computers and Windows-based software.

    • Strong attention to detail.

    • Excellent patient/customer service skills.

    Pay:

    Starting at $15.00+ (Commensurate with experience).

  • We are seeking full time clinical support staff specialists to join our team! You will often be the first person who interacts with patients and will welcome, greet, room and take vital information from patients; manage critical documents, patient texts and messages; and, will transcribe medical reports by physicians and other healthcare practitioners. We believe staff positions at Magnificat are unique and robust, giving far more patient interaction, exposure and responsibility in all steps and stages of a medical practice than many other clinical settings. We know you will find it both challenging and rewarding. Full-time opportunities are a priority, but part-time is available.

    Responsibilities:

    May include some or all of the following:

    • Work closely with and accompany providers into appointments and transcribe all pertinent information.

    • Provide patients with discharge information & aid in communicating patient next-steps action plan.

    • Aid provider in all patient care steps ultimately acting to ease their load and improve patient flow, etc.

    • Work collaboratively with other staff to complete faxes, various patient documents, patient communication, etc.

    • Room patients (welcome patients, provide hospitality, collect vitals, enter in patient information, clean rooms, etc.)

    • Transcribe reports and abbreviations from medical personnel.

    • Review reports for completeness, correct errors in transcription, grammar, punctuation, and spelling.

    Qualifications:

    • Thrive in fast-paced environment.

    • Excel at multitasking and prioritizing task lists.

    • Proficiency with computers and Windows-based software.

    • Strong attention to detail.

    • Familiarity with medical terminology a plus.

    • Excellent patient/customer service skills.

    • Previous experience in medical transcription or other related fields not required, but a plus.

    Job Types: Full time

    Pay: Starting at $13.00+ (Commensurate with experience).

  • Ultrasound Technician

    Magnificat Family Medicine, LLC, is a Christ-centered family healthcare center that provides integrated, compassionate, full-spectrum family medicine care to men and women of all ages and backgrounds. With Jesus the Divine Physician as guide and example, we practice excellent medicine and provide care to the whole person — mind, body, and spirit.

    We are seeking a part-time ultrasound technologist to join our team! Our ultrasound techs perform a variety of diagnostic scans, including OB/GYN, thyroid, abdomen, soft tissue, and more. We believe staff positions at Magnificat are unique and robust, giving far more patient interaction, exposure and responsibility in all steps and stages of a medical practice than many other clinical settings. We know you will find it both challenging and rewarding.

    Responsibilities include:

    · Performs routine and diagnostic ultrasound scans, including setting up ultrasound machine for diagnostic test and reviewing patient chart for pertinent information.

    · Interacts with physicians and other office & clinical staff to provide quality, safe and efficient care for the patient.

    · Follows guidelines for probe handling and infection control.

    · Explains procedures to assure cooperation and optimum test results.

    · Positions patients, selects appropriate transducers and machine settings.

    · Ensures maintenance on ultrasound equipment.

    · Maintains all ultrasound records, reports and files.

    Demonstrates flexibility and responsiveness in handling all patient interactions.

    · Performs all other duties as may be assigned from time-to-time.

    Qualifications:

    · Must have a valid sonography certification.

    · Prefer minimum of 2 years’ experience.

    Additional Information:

    · Part-time, 20-30 hours/week with flexible shift scheduling
